December 2006 marked a milestone for Meridian Homes® as we took a significant first step towards standardising our building specifications.
In an inaugural ceremony held at the JW Marriot Hotel on 8 December 2006, a formal alliance was formed with a select group of vendors/suppliers. All market leaders in their respective fields, they will now have priority as the chosen base specification for most of our house design templates in Singapore.
Our preferred vendors/suppliers will also be featured in our well-received annual publication Resort Homes®. This brochure showcases the design-build templates offered by Meridian Homes®. As we develop new products and processes, and enter into new alliances, we will expand the content of our brochures so that home-owners have an even wider array of choices.

Wood Doctor
Jung Systems is a favourite specification among leading architects, and is widely included in top-end bungalows in Singapore and the region. Many Sentosa Cove projects, for example, use Jung Systems’ German-designed and made switches, as well as its Intelligent Home Systems.
Jung Systems is a long-time favourite systems and electrical accessories provider for Meridian Homes®, and we have incorporated it as a standard in all our Resort Homes® range of private residences. Home-owners can now enjoy the sophisticated capabilities of German technology such as seamless and easy control of their mood lighting, air-conditioning, heaters, curtains and blinds.
LaFarge
LaFarge is the world’s largest and most established construction materials manufacturer and supplier. In a long-term alliance with Meridian Homes®, it is offering an extensive selection of French clay-roof tiles which are aesthetically pleasing and sufficiently robust to withstand the harsh tropical conditions of the region.
LaFarge’s selected roof tiles, which are designed to double interlock, are seamlessly compatible with the patented 2nd Roof systems of Meridian Homes®. Together, they carry a 10-year warranty against defects and workmanship. LaFarge also offers a range of accessories to meet the many edging conditions available in our template designs.
Hilti Systems
Hilti Systems is Sweden’s premier construction tools and equipment supplier. Its extensive catalogue of products caters to measuring, drilling and demolition, cutting and sanding, and anchoring systems, to name a few. In a new alliance, Hilti will join our list of favoured suppliers for key tools and chemicals.
In line with our commitment to accurate and quality construction, Meridian Homes® has recently procured laser-based systems to add to our arsenal of productivity tools. With other new investments in the pipeline, we expect to be using Hilti’s products in many of our projects across Southeast Asia.
Daikin
Mention the name ‘Daikin’ and everyone immediately thinks ‘air-conditioners’. Such is the reputation of Japan’s largest dedicated air-conditioning designer and manufacturer, whose name is synonymous with refreshingly cool blasts of air.
Daikin is a long-time partner of Meridian Homes®, and is specified for all our local and overseas projects. Its reliable designs and excellent after-sales service make it a top systems provider for us. Project after project, we have been using Daikin’s air-conditioning systems for varied usage conditions.
Quicseal
Quicseal is a well-known leading supplier of construction chemicals in Singapore and the region. It is most-often specified by top-end resort developers and hotels, and is also widely specified as an approved product by the statutory boards and government bodies in Singapore.
Because of its proven products and excellent pre- and after-sales technical support, Quicseal has long been a favoured vendor for Meridian Homes™. This is why we have included many of its products as the standard base specification in all our home construction projects.
Rentokil
The United Kingdom’s largest public-listed specialist termite and pest control company, Rentokil was one of the first supporters of Meridian Homes® during our fledgling years. Over the years, we have collaborated on testing and implementing new ground-breaking termite control systems in Singapore.
Leveraging Rentokil’s reputation and technical competency, home-owners have the added assurance that their homes are safe with the pest buster’s strict no-nonsense policy for termite treatment, and other pest-control measures.

Fascina
Fascina is the top uPVC windows fabricator in Singapore. Using down-stream German profiles, its capabilities include fabricating sturdy windows of carrying dimensions, coupled with robust detailing and accessories. The full production process is completed at its in-house state-of-the-art facilities, where quality standards are strictly observed.
With this tie-up, Meridian Homes® is now able to offer timber-look windows to complement our Resort Homes® range, without the long-term hassle of timber maintenance.

The American diagnostics equipment manufacturer fully supports our quest to own and operate advanced building diagnostic equipment. Meridian Homes® is now the proud owner and operator of FLUKE equipment, including the US government-controlled state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
To date, we are the only Design-and-build home specialist to privately own and operate this equipment in Southeast Asia. With our latest acquisition, we are able to internally audit a wide range of our own works ranging from electrical to plumbing, water seepages, waterproofing, heat and sound insulation, within minutes of deploying the high-end, ultra-sensitive imaging equipment.
